
Hope for the Family
Perfect families do not exist. Only Adam and Eve had a perfect home and the entrance of sin finished that off pretty quick. It is correct to say that every family that ever existed was somewhat dysfunctional. From the garden of Eden until now, the best of families have failed to be what God wanted them to be. However, in spite of its disappointing history there is hope for the family.

God Makes the Rules
In bulletin articles I try very hard to be tactful and diplomatic while still beingtruthful. I think it’s important to convey principles of faith in a way that is polite and sensitive to a wide range of readers. There’s no need to be abrasive or abusive in the way we speak. However, today I’m going to break my own writing rule. Now, don’t get me wrong; I’m not trying to upset you or offend you. But I do want to speak about this topic in a clear and blunt way. So, I’m setting aside some of my usual caution and getting straight to the point: God makes the rules.
